Frequently Asked Questions About Coach Mika, Destination Lyfe

Q: Who is Coach Mika?

I’m Coach Mika, founder of Destination Lyfe and a trauma-informed Childhood Trauma Recovery & Relationship Coach. I guide women of faith through the healing of childhood wounds—so they can break toxic patterns, reconnect with God, and rebuild relationships grounded in their God-given worth. My mission is to help you rise from survival mode to the freedom of restoration, with your faith at the center of it all.

Q: When did you start coaching?

I officially began my journey as a Childhood Trauma Recovery & Relationship Coach on April 21, 2025. This date marks when I stepped fully into my calling to serve women who are ready to heal and transform their lives through faith-based recovery.

Q: Why did you start Destination Lyfe?

My calling became clear during the 2024 Fully Delivered Conference, where I witnessed firsthand the profound need for deeper, sustained support for survivors of childhood trauma. I saw the need for ongoing guidance to break cycles and rebuild lives. Then, on April 21, 2025, I came across a YouTube video that asked a powerful question: “What are you really passionate about ? - Your answer is an area in which you can coach.” The answer was clear—helping women of faith heal from childhood trauma and restore their relationships. That’s when I knew coaching was part of my divine assignment, and Destination Lyfe, the Childhood Trauma Recovery and Relationship Coaching service was born.

Q: What makes your approach different from other coaches?

My approach is rooted in faith, Scripture, and proven trauma recovery principles. I don’t just help you understand your past—I guide you to break toxic patterns, establish healthy boundaries, and rebuild relationships anchored in your God-given worth. Every step of your healing journey honors your walk with God while providing practical, actionable tools for lasting transformation.

Q: Why do you focus on positive, hopeful messaging instead of dwelling on negativity?

Because healing isn't just about acknowledging pain—it's about moving toward hope, restoration, and the abundant life God promises us. While I honor the reality of trauma and its impact, I intentionally create a space that reflects where we're going, not just where we've been. Survivors have lived in darkness long enough. My mission is to shine light on the path forward, celebrate progress, and remind you of your God-given worth every step of the way. Positivity isn't toxic optimism—it's the fuel for transformation. When you see healing as possible, you start believing you're worthy of it. And Beloved, you absolutely are.

Q: Who do you work with?

I work with women of faith who are struggling with unhealed childhood trauma and want to restore healthy relationships rooted in divine self-worth. If you’ve been living in survival mode, repeating toxic patterns, or feeling disconnected from God and others, you’re in the right place, Beloved.

Q: What can I expect when working with you?

You can expect compassionate, faith-centered guidance that meets you exactly where you are. Together, we’ll identify the roots of your pain, break destructive cycles, strengthen your relationship with God, and equip you with healing habits that create lasting change. You’ll move from surviving to thriving—with clarity, confidence, and divine purpose.

Q: Do I need to be a Christian to work with you?

My coaching is faith-based and grounded in Christian principles and Scripture (ESV). If you’re a woman of faith seeking to heal through a relationship with God, my coaching will resonate deeply with you.
